With many congenital cardia= c centers building, or considering constructing Hybrid Cath Suites and= /or Operating Theaters, there is a need for perfusionists to step forw= ard and become involved in the planning, design and implementation of = such venues. The inclusion of the perfusionist as a valuable team me= mber and resource will contribute significantly to the design and succ= ess of these suites and to a Hybrid program.
